On November 23rd Philip Hammond the new Chancellor of the Exchequer, will be delivering his first Autumn Statement. Come along to our next club meeting to understand the key points and what they mean to you and your business.

As well as deciphering the content of the Autumn Statement, our Club Chair Chris Mison, from Prosperity Financial Services, will be on hand to answer any resultant questions you may have.

Our regular visitors and members consider attending our meetings a treat – enjoying the break from the toil and trouble of work and taking the opportunity to share ideas and get support or advice from like minded people.

This month in addition to networking, we will be undertaking a “boardroom style” discussion, to debate any particular business challenges that people may want to share.

Whether you are a sole trader or an employer, health and safety regulations and guidelines can often conjure images of plentiful “red tape” and paperwork. Or if you are a sole trader you may even think the law doesn’t apply to you. On Oct 1 however, there are going to be some changes to the law that will affect those who are self-employed. Tracey will be on hand to tell us about these changes to the law and to offer you the chance to ask any questions.
