Charity Fund Raising

The Calleva Business Club is proud to have selected two charities to be the recipients of any fund raising activities during the next 12 months. The selected charities are Headway Place, Basingstoke, and Naomi House, Winchester.

Headway

Headway LogoHave you ever considered how lucky you are? Do you wake up in the morning and stop for a moment and think how fortunate you are to be you, to have your life?

Brain Injury can strike anyone, of any age through accident or illness.

Headway offers support to victims of brain injury and their families, with an emphasis on re-integration into society. Their work is invaluable to offer hope to those whose lives can be so completely disrupted by brain injury.

Naomi House

Naomi House LogoNaomi House is a purpose built children's hospice, which opened in 1997 to provide palliative care for children who will die before they reach adulthood. In addition, last year a £12million appeal was launched to build a second hospice to care for young people over the age of 18 with severe life-limiting illnesses.

Naomi House offers one-to-one care and attention to families across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and bordering counties. No charge is made and Naomi House continues to rely on voluntary contributions to cover the bulk of its running costs. With the help of valued supporters they can continue working with families who so desperately need them.
